How do I take care of my tattoo?
Remove bandage after 2 hours. You will not have to re-bandage.
With clean hands, wash gently with mild, non-abrasive soap and warm water. Pat dry with paper towel or air dry (DO NOT SCRUB)
Apply a very thin coat of Aquaphor 2x daily for the next 3 days. This will protect your tattoo from infections as it is basically an open wound. Your tattoo should be free of dirt, sweat, sun and submerged water (showers are fine)
On day 4, switch to a fragrance-free/ dye-free body lotion such as Lubriderm, Eucerin, or Cetaphil for 2 weeks ONLY when it feels dry and/or itchy. As with the Aquaphor, apply a very thin coat.
- Normal healing time takes about 2-4 weeks, with no shiny/waxy areas.
- Do not let your tattoo dry out.
- Do not expose to sunlight, swimming pools, hot tubs, tanning beds etc.
- Do not pick on scabs (this is a normal part of healing)
Enjoy your tattoo!
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
18. Regardless if your parent is present or not, you need to be 18 yrs old in the state of California to get a tattoo. We will need to make a copy of your ID on the day of your appointment.
What do I need to do to get ready for my tattoo session?
Get plenty of rest the night before. Eat something substantial before your appt. Do not come in drunk, hung-over, or sick as it’ll be worse for you.
How do I make an appt?
To schedule an appointment, please call or come into the shop any day during normal business hours.
Do I need to leave a deposit? How much is it? Why do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes. For most single session tattoos the non-refundable deposit is $40 but may cost a little more for larger multiple-session pieces. Your deposit will be deducted from your last session.
It ensures us that you are serious about your tattoo and that your appointment is guaranteed. It also covers some of the costs of starting the drawing process for our artists.
If you need to reschedule your set appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations, reschedules and no shows within 24 hours will result in the forfeit of your deposit.
What are your prices?
Shop minimum is $100.
We do not give prices via email or phone as pricing can vary based on size, complexity, and area being applied.
For most cases we try to give you a price based on the tattoo design itself. For larger jobs such as back pieces and sleevework, we charge by the hour. Our hourly rates vary from $125-$150/hr.
